Southern Health Trust delighted to have Deaf Women group events on once every month at based in Cherrytree Resource Centre.

Southern Health Trust delighted to have Deaf Women group events on once every month at based in Cherrytree Resource Centre.  This is aim for all Deaf and hard of hearing women aged from 18 years to above, to received programme of living health and arts events.

This is very important for all D/deaf women to received fully information access and

understood of Women and their health's Rights.  We provided such as Anthropology Therapy run by Sue Barry, herself is a profoundly Deaf person who have make her successful of her business as Health Anthropology.  We also had Willow Art craft present by Gillian O'Hagan who is a profoundly Deaf person with her well education and wealth experience in create of Art and Graphic Design.

Southern Trust and Action hearing Loss who are now working in partnership, they would like to have Deaf / hard of hearing people role model like as Sue Barry and Gillian O’Hagan to empower Deaf Women group that they 'CAN DO THIS'. This is fantastic opportunity for all Deaf women group to building up their confident and believed in them that they can do this as they allowed to open up their talents.  Also they need received every update information details regards their health and interpreter service at health service in Southern Trust area. If they interested to join in Deaf women group.
